Might be an option with the powder, but anything added would dilute it, although I could be wrong. I was more talking about creating a pepper that would keep the properties, but tone the heat a bit.
Crossing would get mixed pheno's and need to be stabilized (= time) to get you desired results. Cutting the Brainstrain powder with a mild/sweet powder would get immediate and repeatable results that could be dialled in to suit your taste.
I see what you mean. But if you ever want to cut the powder I found yellow bell works as a zero heat capsicum devoid of bitterness or too much sweetness; neutral.
Your right Shoerider, it would take time but if achieved it would be a great pepper. I love it hot, but not at this level all the time. Sometimes all I want is habanero or even jalapeno heat.
THP, I have never tried yellow bell pepper powder, so its good to know that, thanks for the info. Especially since I can get yellow bells pretty easily. Hmm..
Okay cool, i remembered you mentioning about how a lot of people call you that, which is not your name. Then I seen that I made that same mistake, lol. Thank you for the offer, how is the white bell? I cannot recall these. Are they a true white, or more light green?
