Hoping for advise. What oral stuff is closest to dilaudid? I know it was a larger dose, but it really made the pain go away. Not just dull it, it was frigging gone.

Jeez, around here it's called "hospital heroin", and I can't think of anything close. Our lead guitarist takes Tramadol, but that's for insane severe arthritis in his hands. I've never taken it.

I took 1 Tramadol for arthritis...never again. that shit made me bat shit crazy for 12 hrs. I think Dilaudid is generic hydromorpone.

I heard that Tramadol was recently moved up to a schedule 3 controlled substance, meaning harder to get a refill scrip.

I was prescribed Tramadol from my doctor but when I got to hospital for my total knee replacement they took them away ... for me I had no side affects but understand they do make some people sick
