  • The leaves on my OWs are yellowing. Did I leave them outside too long?

Out in the sun, out in the cold or out in the rain?
    Rawkstah
    Rawkstah
Sun. Pulled them in if temps went below 55. No rain.

I've never seen sunburn cause yellowing leaves. They just get gray/tan translucent areas where the sun was most intense.
Driving 1000 miles in a day solo.... possible or not?

So... where exactly are you driving to and when?

Just west of Denver, and the first week of June. I bit the bullet today though and bought a plane ticket and a rental car. I'll be doing some work out there so I can write off.

Thanks for letting us know. Better to be safe. Nice to have you in Denver. The temps should be better by then!
Went to a bourbon night for whiskey week here. I sampled and re sampled and made lots of friends... I think... It seemed like we were friends towards the end there..
I caved and bought a gold numbered Cubs jersey. Went with Rizzo since a quarter of my family shares the same last name.
There's a local distillery that makes Mole style bitters.. they're amazing... I wonder if it is legal to send Scovie a bottle?

Good chilli bitters? Why don't they have those here?

Probably too confusing in the UK...asking for an ESB, and getting cocktail bitters with chili...
New Indian place moved in down the street. Reviews say its so hot it is almost inedible... I have to get there before they mellow out for the masses!
Nothing like almost losing 2 family members that are your same age, in the same week, to put life in perspective and appreciate the small things. Be safe and be well urrbuddy.

Sorry to hear that, Rawk. Mine was my cousin last year. It's shocking, most of all. Hang tough!

Thankfully everyone is still alive here. My cousin's cancer came back, he went in for surgery asap this week, hoping for the best. And my bro in law was in a car accident, he's lucky to be alive, but doesn't remember a thing about what happened. :-/

I'd been adamant about moving across the country by the end of the year, but then stuff like this happens and makes me think twice.
Been a day in the kitchen, made tortillas followed by burritos for lunch, then banana-blueberry-apple protein bars, vegan protein fudgecicles, and now some vegetarian gyros.
I filled up an old cayenne shaker with red savina powder a while back. Friend saw it on the shelf and went to use it while I was outside. The whole bowl of spinach artichoke dip has been relinquished to me.

Make me a spinach artichoke dip and you won't even need the shaker.

I liked it better with the heat in there. She attempted to eat some, but ended up eating about a quarter of the baguette afterward.
Tried kava today for the first time. Tasted horrible, made my mouth numb then tingly.

uh, no.... i mean the bottle said to take like 4, so the dose is not that outrageous. just felt heavy and my skin crawling and anxiety associated with all that. its just a bad drug like alot of legal mother earth shit.

Well I took a shot of it thinking it was going to be an energy boost thing. My friend is making it into drinks at a coffee shop so I was under the impression it was like caffiene... Yeah... not.

Cleveland wasn't nearly as cold as Chicago, spent most my time in Shaker Square. Neat little neighborhood. Hit up the MOCA's free Saturday and then tried the triple atomic wings from Quaker. That sauce is horrible tasting.
I kinda hate food photography. It is definitely not my strong suit or something I'm interested in making my strong suit.

I ❤️ U Rawk, but my first advice to you is stop with the 45º angle shots. Unless you're drunk. lolololol

only sauce at the place is Cholula. And the guy showed me a couple shots he liked and the dishes were all angled! One of the reasons I thought I'd be a good fit!

My daughter and her BF gave me "Food Photography for Dummies" for Christmas. I am sure what you are doing is so much better than anything I do!
Ran a couple miles and did a HIIT work out. Had a nice healthy veggie dinner. All so that I could sit here now stuffing my face with chocolate chip cookies.

I would give my left arm to take a cruise through the canal. The food tho. mmmmm

Yeah I'm here for a week. Sort of for business. Doing the canal tour Saturday, and looking for some cool stuff to run off to tomorrow when I have free time. But it is hands down friggin' gorgeous here. Mountains, canals, the pacific ocean, jungle, and $7 for a bottle of rum!

Left arm, a cruise...... I know some people.
I asked my family to skip Christmas gifts this year and donate to charity instead. I don't know if they followed through, but my mom and I did, but couldn't decide on just a few charities. Together we end up donating to 8 different organizations and I ended up applying and getting a volunteer position at another NPO.
