  • Huh. Some of my peppers are exploding (okay, the fruit are just splitting open) - is that because it's so damp here, or should I be worried?

    I've also had habanero seeds sprouting inside the pods, while the pods are still on the plants and not even overripe. It's been a weird spring.

    I've seen it happen when someone over waters peppers or tomatoes. If the flesh is somewhat clear on the inside that could be a small sign of too much water.

    Ah! Great! Thank you! (I haven't exactly been overwatering them myself - the sky's been doing a good job of that on its own - but I won't worry about some weird disease, then.)
