I've had it too - takes 3 days to get out of your head then 2 weeks to get out of your chest. Pozole and/or tom yum will help.

Mine is mostly throat. Hurts like hell to swallow but daughter tested negative for strep. She did get gross crusty eyes. Gave her a zpak, nasal spray and eyedrpps.

I like straight up chicken broth. Basically water (hydration important), has some salt, goes down warm. Bonus if you have some PureEvil or hot pepper powder to really warm you up from inside out.
