  • First fruits! While the ethiopian brown is languishing in ~15C in the balcony greenhouse the habanada plant, of the same age, is growing rather majestically in a 10L vermi/perli inside a grow tent @ 25C. Woo that something works : )
Stumbled upon a "Flitiga Lisa",Philips FDK; a rather pretty grow/multipurpose lamp from the 80s or so for a song in a thrift shop after losing an auction for one. CFL tubes aren't precisely expensive now either. Was glad : )
You obviously don't eat the entire rocoto fruit, just like you avoid the core of normal store bought bell peppers, and unlike every hot pepper I've grown and eaten so far..

OK, I went over it again and now I see the relevance : P Not particularly funny but then how do you prepare these things if you eat even the wood-and-soil-tasting core? The rest tastes pretty good. Like a bell pepper more or less.

So this oscillating fan can tilt..great...straight on or straight down it turns out. Have at ye, knees of a Rocoto!

Interpretation: His new oscillating fan has 90 degrees of adjustment from horizontal down to vertical. It's blowing at the lower half of his rocoto.

All..revolvers..know their Rocoto..hmm. Well, I think the fan moves enough air around even if it aims at knees.
..so maybe "birds of a feather flock together" and in this case just the two plants in the available space.
