Adblock Plus - I never see adds

i would suggest ublock origin over adblock plus. ublock origin is newer and also better written. it is more efficient in terms of cpu/memory consumption. also, adblock plus has ideological issues. it intentionally doesn't block all ads by default and receives revenue from ad publishers in exchange.

This is a sudden occurrence.

Yesterday only ad bars at top and bottom of pages, today there are BIG ads showing up in individual posts, mine and others, in all forums

Annoying in the 'Extreme'!

uBlock Origin blows away AdBlock Plus.....Night and day difference. I dont see any ads with it. Takes a second to disable it if you want to see ads.

pretty silly you are paying for membership you should have 0 ads

Paying for a membership on a non secure site running 5yr old forum software would be more accurate. Seems like back in July we were told the forum software would be upgraded yet.............Its still the same 5yr old software and still not https.

I've been on adblock plus for a few years. Worked great. Then recently they " upgraded" and not only came the ads but they switched their search eng from duckduckgo to google
