Had a young cardinal in the garden shed this AM. Left him in there for several hours but he could not figure out how to fly out through the open door! I finally grabbed him and set him free.

Never heard of a "rescue" bird SL..Great job!

Have had two birds end up in our wood burner, which we rescued. One more ended up clear down the furnace flue, but did not survive.

Nice job! Birds are cool. But never trust them!
