    I got to meet the band 'Halestorm' great folks, down to earth, and one hell of a show. Fiance scored tickets for our anniversary.

    Lzzy is one of the best female rock (not metal or operatic) vocalists out there! They work/tour nonstop- paid off & won a Grammy! Lzzy = 1st female EVER in the Hard Rock/Metal category to win one! (DORO deserves one though!) Glad you had an awesome time!

    So I got a second office today, where I will be spending a majority of my time over the next few months,. I no longer have a window, a view, or a big desk. I live in the cube farm. I already can't wait to go back.

    Out of No where a freeze. The temperature was only supposed to get down to 40 degrees, and I didn't pull my plants. It is always something, huh?

    Yeah I know it is April, but I live in South East Virginia, with a last frost date average for the state of April 1st. The plant were too large for my house to maintain and several were starting to look light deprived and leggy. I didn't want to spend 200+ getting more lights to establish a greater saturation to support the plants.

    I made a calculated risk, and that risk was met with mother nature dropping temps. I brought my plants back indoors, and luckily so. There was...

    It has been a great season for me this year! I am hoping that I can get one more harvest out of my plants before frost. Looks like low in the 50s for a few more days!

    Great news, this morning when I left for work it said the low for the next week will be above freezing. I looked at my plants and have a TON of peppers showing color. After having pneumonia, and traveling a lot for work this sure is a spirit lifting experience! Thank you for all your kind words.

    Iowa's cool. About 10 years back, i was driving across the state, enjoying the 2 lane roads, when I stumbled upon the 'Twister' house way out in the middle of nowhere.

    ^agreed. Spring/late spring especially. Most folks would think it is boring, flat, open nothingness. Quite hilly and lots of great cover for whitetail.

    I canceled my internet & cable because I found it was a time sink that was crippling my development as an individual. If I want to know something I pick up a book or go somewhere that has wifi-access. Gives mea sense of purpose when using the internet instead of just wasting time.

    Yup. I pretty much use the internet during "down time" at work or on breaks. It has actually been incredibly liberating.
