Happy New Years everyone and have a great 2019 growing season!
Been mixing wheelbarrows of soil the last two days and transplanting a bunch of pepper plants outside. The weather here in South Florida is finally nice out this time of year and not extremely hot/humid

Has anyone used those previously used black nursery pots for thier pepper plants? Just wondering becuase I have read/heard that some plant nurserys and big box stores give them away for free
Finally topped and pruned my pepper plants tonight. It looks weird seeing them like this but it did free up alot of space

First year growing peppers been going very slow, with alot of set backs/problems. This has been a big learning experience. Staying positive
Started a new peat moss seed tray about two weeks ago and a white mold/fungus keeps appearing even after spinkling cinnamon on top. Any suggestions how to get rid of it?
I have a big problem, I started noticing that a lot of my germinating pepper seeds were growing about a inch tall or even just sprouting but then they slowly die off. Today I found out that this is called damping off. Can anyone please suggest any methods to cure/prevent this problem instead of starting over. I have started a second separate seed tray too, but it looks like this is already happening again...
