I'm doing quite a few. Not doing as many superhots this year though.
I might take up as a side job some horse training. Nothing better than getting paid to do what you love..

Awesome! Do it! I grew up tacking/grooming/feeding horses and cleaning the barn in exchange for lessons! I miss being around those beasts... and the horse smell...

I love it. Smoken, I agree, they are majestic. Rawkstah, I love it, although I am not fond of the flies. Biting bastards

Thank you, hope others here and in Texas can do the same. At least I have a generator and a fan, lol. Goes a long way with this heat and humidity. I really feel for those who are flooded or have homes that are destroyed..

Hey Aron so glad your safe brother. I posted a thread in the lounge for anyone caught in the storm. Lots of info there about others who were caught in its path. So glad your safe brother.

Thanks OS I appreciate you. Thanks for offering your home to those in need. That is really honorable.
Went from shooting paper targets to steel. Love it!

yea i watched that hickock video and was astonsihed how little damage most ammunition does to hardened steel. he was plugging like... 1/2" steel with 762x39 and there was not even the slightest digging.

im guessing the people that have it happening are not being careful enough.

    AaronTT
Queequeg152, yeah I hear you. I have noticed that the targets I am using are tearing up the Fmj rounds. I am liking these so much, I am going to get a larger 1/2 gong for more distance shooting.

    AaronTT
I can shoot pretty good, but I have already noticed a tighter grouping recently shooting these targets. Love the sound as well.
Anyone know of any wild chinense varieties?

The downside of always living with hot and sunny temperature and beautiful beach I guess...

1 hurricane every 5 years or 5 months of snow per year.. The struggle is real

Charlesquik, lol I hear ya. I can't complain too much. Oldsalty, thank you. Looks like we made it out okay.
Well I'm giving Pookie's idea a try. I have about half a dozen yellow bells on the dehydrator right now.

Sprinkle some of that bell powder on a slice of Monterey Jack cheese, YUM!
    AaronTT
    AaronTT
I hear ya Psycho. So as long as you dont let the yellow bells get too hot, they will taste sweet and good. Burn them or scald or whatever and they taste nasty.
    AaronTT
    AaronTT
Great powder to mix though, and also good to use by itself.
Its too early to be sure, but having tried both Black Cayman and Jamaican hot chocolate my favorite is...
    chiltepin
    chiltepin
JHC is my favorite choco, been growing for maybe 10 years. I don't care for peppers much hotter like the >1 million SHU.
    AaronTT
    AaronTT
chiltepin, it shas now become my favorite for the lower heat chocolates. The very pepper that got me interested in hots was a chocolate hab years back that was given to me, but when I grew the standard chocolate hab it did not taste like it. The JHC has the taste I have been looking for.
    AaronTT
    AaronTT
Considering that most habs and other peppers don't get to their prime flavor wise until the plant gets a bit older, I am very impressed with the JHC. First pepper picked had the flavor I wanted, I can only imagine how good it will be on a plant a year+ old.
I think chocolate brainstrains are the best smelling peppers dried up and ground. I wish this smell and taste could be kept while dialing down its heat a bit.

The bells I bought, and took the seeds from would be as white as any pepper would get. Similar to a White Devils tongue.
    AaronTT
    AaronTT
Interesting, I have never seen a white bell. I might take you up on some of those seeds.

Take a look at the list on my profile, and let me know if there's anything else you'd like besides the Bell seeds.
Anyone have any Red Savina Habs for sale?

I bet you did, lol I have a couple plants, but nothing within the next month or two.

Deer trimmed my plants. Maybe in a month.
What is your favorite pepper for sauce making?
    Grass Snake
    Grass Snake
for fresh salsa, not sauce. Nevermind.....
    megahot
    megahot
Depends on the flavor you are going for. The chocolates will give you more of a smokey earthy hot sauce flavor. The yellows will be more of a citrus/sweet flavor and reds are your standard

Mystery Wine, Jalapenos, Cherry bombs, MOA, Red Habs. I adjust the heat on the milder ones by adding some hotter peppers.
What is your favorite beer? If you had to choose just one?
    AaronTT
    AaronTT
Steelheat, OE? Hell no! lol. Thats some nasty shit I used to drink as a kid, but if you like it.. Scarekrow , Infamous Pitbull and charlesquik interesting choices. Rawkstah, that sounds interesting and strong, the way I like it. Drink less is my motto.

Have you guys heard about the new Megadeth beer made by a brewery in Quebec named Unibroue(kind of the first micro brewery in Quebec that went a little bit more commercial)? I'm looking forward to taste it.
Sucks when you pull muscles and have to remain stationary. Stuck in a chair or bed for the most part. Driving me crazy.

Bad call, dude. As the recipient of much physical therapy, I'm pretty qualified to tell you that the better method is to keep moving, just more gently. You wanna tell me to f* off over it? Go ahead. You are the one who will hurt longer than you have to!
    AaronTT
    AaronTT
Whoa, f**k off, what are you talking about geeme? Actually I am moving a bit now. I am taking it easy though. I know better than to only sit on my ass, as muscles grow weak and atrophy without any exercise.

However, when it first happens rest IS what you want. At this point though I have started to do a little walking.
Why is the hot pepper banner cut off at the top of the page?

Hey man, no sweat. It sounds like you have a great situation there with your surroundings. 7 of my good friends lost their homes in that one and many many clients and people I know. People have been busy "defensing" their property. It's been a boon year for companies with chainsaws, wood chippers and hydro seeders. Another good tip I just heard about is to fill contractor garbage bags with water around your property, if a flame or ember lands near it, the bag will melt and instant...

Hhahahah^ Water balloon pumpkins! I've seen close calls with tornadoes as a kid and again last summer. F3 tornado ruined a town southwest of me and veered before it got here. Mother nature just gets pissed sometimes. All we can do is cower and back away. ...And prepare somewhat.
France has been again the victim of another attack by ISIS..my heart and prayers go out to the french people
