Finally these are ripening to a nice orange colour. They taste much sweeter when ripe. I'm still on the fence about this variety though; while the flavour has improved, I find the walls of the pepper to be a little too thin and tough for my taste.

Thanks guys, i'll experiment with these methods.   I'm growing some Bih Jolokia, supposedly they have very thin walls. I'll try with those first!

Does anyone know of any decent ways to dry peppers without the use of a dehydrator? I was thinking about tying them up and hanging them vertically to try. Mostly with annuum but maybe some baccatum varieties as well. I want to make some decorative pepper bunches similar to braided garlic bunches...

It seems to work! We have a ton of wild rabbits in our area. This morning there were 3 of them just chilling on the front lawn! Buggers.

  I like that approach also. When I ran out of peat pellets, that approach got me 100% germ rate on my carolina reaper seed. When do you transplant the seedling from the tray? I transplanted mine too early and there wasn't nearly enough root mass to hold the soil ball together.
