chinense Looking for "real" Stuffing Scotch Bonnet seeds

Well that particular chilli is a creation of Pepper Lover so I would be surprised if you could get them elsewhere. Perhaps try some more seeds until you get a plant that produced what you want?

contest 2017 Inaugural Southern Hemisphere Growdown Throwdown Aji Amarillo

Hi guys good to see some nice plants. I totally forgot I even signed up to this lol. I have seeds and plan on starting in September, sounds late but last year I started some seeds in October and still got fruit setting in those plants in January. I hate pissing around with indoor setups so...

heat Ed Currie's newest hottest pepper

True there is a lot of crap surrounding it all but at the end of the day it brings lots of people into the hobby. I personally know three people who got into the wider hobby after hearing about and tasting the Reaper. These guys are chefs at the local pub I work at and now as a result we have...

    Strongly self-pollinating peppers?

Some plants such as corn do sense hours of light per day presumably to know when to flower seasonally. Chilli plants don't and my guess is because they naturally occur near the equator and they are not annuals.. ..which is why if your temps remain stable your plants will continue to grow and...

chinense Origin of Peach Bhut Jolokia

Yes I have read a number of descriptions that just say 'natural variant of the red ghost'. However this could simply mean that the author does not know where it came from. What surprises me is just how much different the Peach is from the red, I mean the flavour in nothing alike and the shape...

    Pepper color and DNA ???

Not necessarily true.. eye colour can be predicted based on known genes. As well as the % of chance based on genes. No reason why colour of chillies would not be predictable at least to a percentage if the the colour changing genes are known. If you know the genes that are carried in two...

chinense Origin of Peach Bhut Jolokia

Just wandering how the Peach Bhut came to be? It's flavour profile is totally different (fruity/tropical to me) to the red or caramel (the only other two I have tried and tasted the same as each other to me). In my experience though it certainly keeps up with heat. It seems to be quite stable...

Beautiful colors but my God that 7 Pot is hot

If you like yellow pods that taste amazing but not too hot you should try P.Dreadie Scotch Bonnet SS. I grew it along side yellow MoA SB last season and found the P.Dreadie to be VERY fruity and delicious with heat slightly less than a habanero. MoA on the other hand tasted grassy like bell...
