    General Lawn Care

They use constant care and lots of water. They scalp the grass so that the lawn doesn't grow like it should - thus the constant care. You don't want your lawn to be like that. Good lawn maintenance will require aeration, fertilization, proper watering, and proper mowing. That last one is...

business Need advice on where to go next

I've never heard anything like that - they don't have any sort of membership cap. If your product is grown or made in NC, you should be able to join.

    disease Anthracnose possibly

Matches my experience. Bells get it most, Anaheims and Poblanos next. Rarely see it on Serranos or anything smaller, and never on the chinenses.

    cutlery Wood Cutting Boards, Anyone?

Cutting veggies, I just give it a good wipe down afterward - not anything special. If I cut meat, i spray it with a vinegar solution (with a little soap) and then wipe it dry after a couple minutes. I refinish it with mineral oil maybe once a year, and maybe 7 years ago or so I sanded it and...

plant Needing help with I.D. please

Ghost is the closest offhand from the look, but I agree with @CaneDog that it's not quite right. Keep us posted as they ripen!

    disease Anthracnose possibly

I'm fighting anthracnose this year. First thing was a crop rotation, and there's some specific fungicides to use in rotation. It's no fun. Definitely post those pics for a better ID

business Need advice on where to go next

@salsalady is a great resource for info on this, definitely pay attention to anything she has to say! I'll add in a few things from a local perspective since I'm also in NC: If you're not already, sign up for Got to Be NC with the Dept. of Agriculture. You'll get to display "Got to Be NC" on...

Around 6 weeks left? You should be able to get at least some harvest if you have pods now.

pics Are some of this ready to pick ?

That half-green one I would probably wait a little longer, but the all/mostly red ones definitely. If there's a little green it's still fine - it will ripen to red before long. And these looks like NuMex varieties which are quite good green, too (especially roasted) (and then stuffed with...

    plant What are these?!

I was thinking they look somewhat Anaheim-ish - which is pretty much the same thing. Shishitos aren't too different either, in general appearance.

    shopping Chilhuacle Rojo.

They usually have a pretty big gap in availability from midsummer until January. Good chance you're running into that. The one thing that I don't like about them (and, unfortunately, the reason I don't use them - I need my seeds before January). BUT, usually the listings also say that they're...

Smell test may not always tell you if it's GOOD, but it's a pretty sure way to know that it's BAD :)

Not sure where you're getting them from, but there's some good reliable sources discussed around here - I would try some of them next time.

    plant Please help me identify

@lesmyer agreed - none of those look like poblanos or mulato. Pasilla possibly, but they're a bit short for that. They look rather anaheim-ish to me, but that's a very broad category.

health Is my Carolina Reaper Plant and peppers look healthy?

I'm used to seeing them bushier, but that could easily be due to climate differences - I'm in North Carolina! Other than that it looks healthy to me! Keep us posted with pics as it develops fruit.
