Nope NO water. Crushing the strawberries prior to putting them in the pan creates a lot of juice. So your liquid comes from that. The more you crush the strawberries the more liquidy the jam will be. The less you crush them the chunkier it’ll be. Use a potato masher. Works perfect. Also...
