@armac (not trying to argue) your right it does attract excessive heat but painted black looks much better than a bright yellow or white bucket with PICKLES written on it 3 times. Ymmv

I get all my 5gal buckets from local grocery store bakeries/delis, and local bars that go through lots of pickles for free. Add in a couple cans of satin black spray paint for plastics. And my cost maybe $0.97 a bucket including gas and labor. They arent the prettiest but they get the job done.
