MG Tomato during Flowering and Fruit Set? (Peppers)

I'm not a fan of MG either, I use Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom when mine start flowering. I also use fish/kelp emulsion the whole time but start with like 1 tsp every 3 weeks and eventually go up to 1 tbsp every 2 weeks.

shopping Wich fertilizer should i buy ?

I like Neptune's Harvest Fish/Seaweed blend, Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom and Botanicare Liquid Karma. I have Cal-Mag if it's needed but my plants are in Happy Frog so I've used it as a foliar spray maybe once or twice.  Or you could try some Laphroaig Quarter Cask, that peaty goodness will...

    blooms but not many peppers

If your plants are outside i doubt you need to hand pollinate, insects/wind should take care of that for you. How hot has it been where you live and are they getting a lot of direct sunlight each day? You could put them under some 70% shade cloth or just put them in direct sun in the...

    Need thick-fleshed, prolific pepper suggestion

You ever had a yellow 7? If Scotch bonnets are head-blowin hot to you, you might have a rough time with yellow 7's. I grew both last year and they both have a great taste, yellow 7 is very fruity to me almost like pineapple and scotch bonnet fruity/citrusy. Pumpkin habaneros are pretty thick...

URGENT! HELP!! Healthy Scorpion Butch T is dropping leaves

Like others said it's probably nothing, leaves are bound to fall off. My plants drop a few leaves every now and then, sometimes they're green like your picture and sometimes they're yellow but I wouldn't worry unless a lot started falling off or they looked diseased/infested.

pests Aphids - poison them, or just let them be?

I've had two mild infestations this year and hit my plants with Dyna-Gro neem oil and a little bit of dish soap. It killed them all with the first application. Last year aphids tore a few of my plants to shreds early in the summer so I even take a chance anymore. If I see one I spray.

Weird spot on one of my pods...any idea what it is?

BER definitely. I've seen this on a lot of my peppers this year since we just got 2 straight months of rain here in NC. I'd cut the bottom off, split it to see how bad the rot was inside and use it if I could.

A Tale of 3 Symptoms. Intriguing Superhot Pictoral Mystery. PLEASE ADVISE.

The biggest problem I see with the white habanero is that piece of perlite on the leaf

soil Forget the shills I need a soil answer.

Definitely agree, their "pods" sell for $50 an eighth so they know their soil. Plus their grow pics look awesome whether or not you like weed.

Morugas looking a little deficient in something

Agree with everyone else, looks like too much water to me. Don't water them again until they start wilting, then water and put in the shade and they'll perk back up.

    Flowering already?

I think it's more about personal preference. I pinch my plants and aside from a chocolate bhut, they've all been very productive. Not the best pics but here's a few habaneros I grew last year (chocolate, orange and pumpkin)   Pinched these and they were quite productive       Even used the...

    organic organic ferts suggestions

Is right up the road Huntersville? I live in Huntersville (work at the nuclear station) but nobody's heard of it so I just say Charlotte. I have a facebook account but haven't been on in over 4 years so it's easier to just PM me on here and I'll reply in a day or two.   I haven't started indoors...

    organic organic ferts suggestions

Where in NC are you? I'm in Charlotte and, until late this past week, it's been colder than usual and we've gotten a crap ton of rain so my plants are lagging a bit too but I know it's the weather, hell it got down to 39 the other night. If you're near me, it's supposed to be in the high 70's to...

Plants don't look right to me, what do you think?

Arrived in the mail today from Refining Fire Chiles, purchased plants from him for the past four years with no problems so I'm not anticipating any this year. Yes there are holes in the cups but I haven't watered them yet, potted them about 10 minutes before taking these pics and the soil is...

Plants don't look right to me, what do you think?

Just got them in the mail a few hours ago so haven't started hardening them off. Came in the mail like this... Peach bhut... Peach Bhut agaon... Trinidad pimento... Next two are scotch bonnets... Just wondering if I should go through the hardening off process and see how they do...

    Hardening Off...Details?

I start with 1 hour a day in direct sun for the first 2-3 days, then go to 3-4 hours/day for another 3-4 days then depending on how they've responded so far I either go to 6 hours a day for a few more days or just put them out and leave em. Like others have said, just be patient and you'll be...

Cool and new varieties for the 2013 season

I'm not sure he sells live plants but Ed's located in Fort Mill. Doubt I'm growing anything you're not (based on what you've listed here) but later in the season I'd love to trade some pods with you if you want.

    vendor Refining fire chiles

If you don't mind buying plants instead of seeds, the two chocolate hab plants I bought from him last year produced the most of all my plants by far. I've posted a few pictures of them before, and man were they tasty. Still have several full bags in my freezer.

    Who here eats whole superhots?

I've eaten orange, pumpkin and chocolate habs, scotch bonnets, chocolate bhuts, yellow 7s and ghost peppers whole and the last few are simply more pain than enjoyment so I do it maybe twice a year. Like several people have said, I like to pick and eat the first pod from each of my plants every...
