    Hi joe, sounds right in taste and heat but in the gift bag all the ones I got were virtually the same size and that be a dime/10cent piece max. Wall thickness same as regular Super hots Chinense. Must be a trini cherry as I have not seen any pics of same.

    Received another Trinidad care package but this time there were these little red buggers the size of a sour cherry or your thumb nail. Man are they good. Tried to Id but only cherry peppers come and that's not them. Ideas ?

    Ripening Pods

    Wondering if pods on plant take longer to ripen if under the shroud of foliage or that is not a factor. Does direct sun light on the pods speed things up ?

    Update: Seems everything is suddenly coming together. A few cool nights was the best kick start ever. Have a strong feeling that this Toronto summer was so messed up that it was / is a weather related issue.

    I must say that I will have to stray from my instinct and try a ensemble. Kind of a waste seeing a few are first timers but have a believe that the MAMA load is still to come from the kids. until then, mix match enjoy wish I could figure out how to post pics from phone etc. all good!

    Thinking id have to keep some Habs separate seeing I love that good ol Hab flavor. Why do some say that example Bondas make better powder than other, guessing the same reason of a Hab type distinct flavor? The devil tongue is Alledgedly also a wicked powder by its lonesome ?

    Seems the various strains are ripening very sporadically not enough of any one type to dry a full batch. Anyone ever try to mix and match ie doughlahs/chocolates/devil tongues/orange Habs and bonda's to make a high breed powder? Can't think of anything else to do!

    It's certainly not a rain issue here in Toronto. I've been racing home after work to water them as its been SOO dry up here that if it does actually rain it'll bounce off the lawn and garden. The only thing doing really well this year is the ever annoying "creeping Charlie"

    Recall hearing something about a Epsom boost to prevent the interior blackout. +1 Pre as the outside looks great,that's why I always dissect before the dry or chop etc. been super hot up here so will have to monitor I suppose.

    Have had a few 3/4" pods drop off lately and when I did an autopsy they were black inside. Thoughts?

    My bad, beer played a roll. SO any input ? Do chocolates or Scorps or Douglas etc consume noticeably different quantities of water per type? The list goes on but can anyone provide an opinion/answer.
