So I went ahead and set up a basic DWC with 2 mature plants. I am loving it so far. Its so much cooler than using potting mix. I may switch over to a recirculating system at some point, but for now this will work. I'll be adding 2 more buckets once my pumpkin habanero and apocalypse peppers get...

  Do you mean running an individual intake line from the pump into each bucket?

If I did that though, where would I add nutrients and ph up/down? Just pick a random plant?

  So it would be an inline pump instead of a submersible? That would be even cleaner looking honestly. I like it. And yeah I will have air stones and an air pump. Just haven't drawn them yet.

  I would hope it would equalize fast enough to be able to drain. Bigger pipes in between each bucket will help. Also, i'm going to have a very slow flow rate pump since my system will be less than 25 gallons right? That will also help.
