    What would you recommend? Well it didn’t hurt the plant. Just the mites. over watering is not an issue with house fan next to it, and good root system. May need to fertilize again.

    Let me know how those do, I heard peppers like sand. I think peppers will grow in almost anything if you give them the right nutrients. Has anybody ever grown Gwam boonie pepper?

    Nitrosomonas Here are the microorganisms you find in fish tanks, I found to be helpful for seedlings. On the down side, also can cause leeching of nitrates.

    I was reading somewhere that you should have 30watts per square foot for fluorescents. I would think this all varies depending on what kind of light & how much you give, and many other factors I am sure.

    yeah everybody says that. But I have personally have had great results using small quantities, like nice white roots. Give it a try sometime. Another good way to replace beneficial organisms is to water with fish tank water. If you have access to that.
