Im glad you brought that up, i noticed the dew excretion and i thought i was doing something wrong but im guessing this is normal? You may want to watch for slugs too, im not sure if they would do any damage to these cacti but i have heard of them damaging some other species.

One of my "Purple Haze" started out of no where finally, and has grown a lil over 6 inches in 3 weeks, similar to yours S.S. Im really impressed with these cacti, im use to cacti taking years to go anywhere, very rewarding so far.
