I got some reapers started that I picked up at zestfest recently... I started 6 seeds, and so far out of the 6, 4 have sprouted. It took about 8-10 days for them to come up. They were on a heat mat and covered for humidity as well... It's funny because out of the 4 sprouts that came up, 2 look...

how bout a cross between an orange hab (grows well all year) and some of the superhots(more picky). Best of both worlds? Maybe we'd get lucky with some of the seeds will have both the heat of the superhots but the endurance of the habs... haha

Well... I tried some more this evening lol... and I took a little bite and it was really HOT!! WAY hotter than the orange habs I'm used to. But...I've never had a savina hab, so I'm not sure if it is a savina or a scorp. Do scorpions smell / taste like a hab?? Because it smells/taste just...

well...i took a small cut out of and i got a STRONG habanero smell as soon as I cut it lol... It taste and smell like a hab :( But like i said... all the other peppers on the same plant look like scorp. Any ideas? I will post up pics of the plant. I can also take a pic of the inside of that 1...

fyi...i just kept mine out through the cold, and they appear the same. in fact, it looked like i had new peppers after that day we talked. I would say freezing temp not good but 50 ok...i'm not sure tho

Yes thank you! exactly what I wanted to hear haha... I got 6 plants...all from AJ... Douglah, 2 x BT Scor, Choc Hab, Sav Hab, Bhut So far... the red savina hab and 1 of the BT scorpions are growing the most peppers.

Well I'm not concerned about the seeds because I'm not going to keep seeds... what I'm concerned about is the heat would change on the pepper itself because of the cross? Thanks for the help again! :D
