Better seasons if I count the ratio of good plants and pods that grew on them... very nice. A big thanks to you Paul - those pods are mainly from the plants that sprout from the seeds you sent. So cheers

The time of the last harvest has come.... it's been fun The temperature has reached 0°C for a few nights now, so we're officially entering winter time.       Been picking those just before the official ending of Vuelta race... We're so proud of Roglic these days.   I also got one juciy Rocoto...

I agree Paul. Also been observing your situation with administration from afar and I would not like to comment on it  I just really hope the one who gets elected keeps his cool and plays his role smart in any situation to come.

Thank you Paul. Some are big yes, but now with the lower temperatures the overall size of pods is smaller too. I'm waiting for the rest to ripen so I can call it an end of the season.   The second wave of covid is happening, if we stay healthy we'll have plenty of time to prepare the garden for...

If I'd knew that before ;)     On a more serious note... it's dehydrating time. It smells nice in here. Four trays of future powder.

Splitting of pods and some got rotten in about two days after harvest, that's what dampness is causing here. I need to dry and freeze some (for later cooking), but if I'll find the time I'll cook a sauce in these coming days.   As promised, a picture of yeasterday's harvest.   some other...

So many pods Paul, what will you do with all that fruit ? Congrats!   Those Red Bonnets look tasty, how are they? You'll use them all for powder?   Edit: The only plant that I had no luck with this season was Scotch Bonnet MoA.... they seem to not like the weather or something. The first season...

Thank you Paul.   It's not the end yet, I hope :) Lot's of pods still on the plants and they are maturing quickly. I am a bit worried about the weather though, temperatures dropped today to 3°C. I just hope they are going to be ok so I can let them outside for a few days more. One large harvest...

Thank you. They turned out really well despite the bad weather. The ones in pots turned fine, but the ones in the garden - that is a whole other story.

Some pics of the plants from last week   Aji Umba   Chocolate Habanero   Chupetinho   I think this one is a variety of JA Red Habanero - the label was washed out from rain and sunlight   had a nice little harvest during this weekend   last larger bowl of tomatoes   We also got a chance to...

Those are from the nursery. So I'd guess they are hybrid. I always get jalapenos from nursery because I had bad luck raising them from seeds. But I like them pickled or just cut and sprinkled on a pizza or in sandwich.

After a while, it's time for a little update. Cucumbers are closing the season, but we have enough pickled already. Tomatoes are just beginning to rapidly ripen, so we'll have a lot of work with the tomato sauces and enough salads from now on :) I'll take  a pic someday.   As for the chilis...

The old garden was always better for growing tomatoes, cucumbers and pumpkins. So that's what we always put there.   Cucumbers #1 (these are large varieties for eating raw and in salads)   Cucumbers #2 (the pickling ones)   I think this one is butternut   zucchinis   I need to tie them...
