Maybe measure heat levels by the number of ass hairs singed on the way out.

I soaked my seeds in diesel for an extra long time, so maybe that helped 🤪 I have 3 backup plants that are producing pods quite regularly and one that has several hundred flowers but no pods. I used Ocean Forest in my growbags, maybe that helped.

Anybody else having any luck?

Quite juicy and a good bit of a kick. Heat doesnt hit right away. I use them in sauces and pepper jam/jelly. Just have to wait for the hundreds of other pods to ripen. 😉

Picked a few from the forest. 3 giant yellow rocotos, a huge corno di toro, some ripe bananas, and some oddball red peppers that came from a plant grown from datil seeds saved form last year.

Mine seems to enjoy hanging out in a Dutch bucket so far.. (getting a bit crowded though)
