Do you have a quality PH meter and TDS/PPM/EC meter? My experience growing hydro was very dependent on these tools for accurate information. If I may offer one tip, keep the root zone cool. Insulate your buckets with mylar relfectix type insulation. Heat will be the enemy of your reservoir.

Interesting. When I was doing a stint at the distillery helping it timed with covid and they switched to sanitizer and used xanthan gum to thicken the product so I just assumed that was it's role in other applications.

So xanthan is not just a thickener but also helps maintain consistency?

looks like nutrient burn type issues more than insect to me as well.

Great idea if you have the ability to adequately grow the plant indoors (light, space, temps, time to care for them) and then move outside. You will get a tree that way.
