I haven't been very active here (or any other forums) as I haven't made the time in my busy schedule. However, I did want to pop into this thread to share the status of my PT F4 grow. When Fall/Winter rolled around, I kind of forgot about some of my pepper plants including my PT F4. Well fast...

Despite raising some healthy looking PT F4 plants, I just didn't get any pod production this year. The two pods that I DID get, stalled out very small, so I plucked them in hopes that the plant would produce more. I've got flowers, but still no pods......

Update on the last fruit from the Mucho Nacho....they had decent jalapeno heat. 👍🏼 First BBG is colored up.... More Choco Habs getting ripe (I have picked four already that I'll be making hot honey with today) No pics, but my Guajillo, Poblano and Anheims all continue to produce well...

Not sure if I did the right thing, but those first two pods did not change at all in size, so I decided that I'd cull them in the hopes that I'll get a better fruit set.......guess we'll see if that was a good idea or not! :) R

Well, wouldn't you know it, I go away for a few days, and come back to PODS! :) Just a couple on one plant thus far, and they are ~1.5/2" long. 👍🏼 Seeds sown on 1/25/22, so just about 7 months! :)

Look, ma, peppers! 🤣 My jalapenos stopped getting any bigger (they were small), so I decided to pull them off in the hopes that the next round of fruit would be bigger. Also harvested some Poblano and Anaheim.... My Guajillo is showing some nice color.... And my second Anaheim has grown...

Well, not yet, Paul. The happy looking plants (2nd pic) are the neighbors of the sad looking plant...... I'm sure he'll perk up since I gave him water this am, and I'll get him a support system so if he gets tired again, he won't be sagging! :) R

I had to report myself to the Purple Thunder Abuse Hotline this morning.....this poor guy is just not liking our latest run of heat (which is odd, since his neighbors don't seem to mind it at all......same soil, same watering schedule, etc!!) I'll get a support stake in the pot for this plant...

The only way I'm able to get the 750°+ temps I like in the RecTeq is to use the GMG Pizza Oven as it funnels all the heat from the fire pot into the oven. This means the grill temp probe thinks that the pit is still low, so runs a hotter fire to get to the temp I have set. I set the grill up...

Thanks, getting it dialed in! This is my dough recipe that I use, and it's intended for pretty hot temps (720-780°) as the 00 flour seems to behave better at those temps. If you are cooking at a lower temp, you can just reduce the ratio of 00 flour in the mix, and you should get proper...
