I have grown fresnos for years.  Never had one produce fruits that grow pointing up. 

Never seen a fresno grow pointing up.  Maybe a Facing Heaven pepper?

adding bells to hot peppers is something I do with almost every sauce I make.  they help bulk up a sauce, round out the flavors and cut heat when using hotter peppers.  match colors and roll mastertown!  :)
