Aji Mango: Which is the original? Which one is better?

@SCARBO Looks just like chilies are from my mum plant. Sadly I don't have good photos. If you want my Aji Mango seeds I can trade or give :)

    ShowMeDaPowda!!!

I made some nice powder from the fake pepper x, rose pepper, black pepper and timur pepper. Works nicely with chicken, fish and lamp or seafood. Smells strongly citrus or grapefruit and a bit of pepper x and rose pepper sweetness and a hint of black pepper. But the heat with this one is strong.

Aji Mango: Which is the original? Which one is better?

I dont remember well but Hot white lime's heat and taste was similar to original sinap color. Which one?? I have some Aji Mango seeds but no white hot lime red. The white hot lime is outside and almost dead.

Aji Mango: Which is the original? Which one is better?

It stayed firm and it was only one pod. It was from the last year season. I had also White Hot Lime that all pods turned  red some reason but the chili that I gave to my mother made correct color pods. I think its unstable and off pheno. I  wonder where that pale green/yellow comes from. I may...

    Pepper X

Yup, not anywhere near to rated shu. Still it wold be interesting chili to grow if can handle the heat. Ed Currie was telling nice bedtime story  about 3 million chili that nobody does not have :) I remember that I read somewhere that someone said you could even create 8 million shu chili...

    Pepper X

It was fully ripe. It started with green and changed to olive green. Also I let it dry and no color change. Only it started to smell strongly sweet and Carolina reaper. I liked it much. I grow it again and try to cross it with something.

Aji Mango: Which is the original? Which one is better?

My Aji Mango tasted like carambola and color was pale green. Almost no heat.

Mystery pepper (is it even one?)

I dont know ur wild chili tolerance but most species handle easily low as 5°C if day temp is about room temperature.

    Pepper X

More pictures. It's now fully ripen. Taste is something like Carolina Reaper and Harold's Barts Green. Oily and not too much seeds. It was only 12.5 grams. Extreme hot and I would rank this hot as Carolina Reaper or a bit hotter. I only tasted a bit on the tail. Heat increasing slowly and nice...

Mystery pepper (is it even one?)

Keep it close to window and keep the window little open at nights?

Mystery pepper (is it even one?)

Could be insufficient photosynthesis. Nothing to worry too much. It look like rocotos and like temperature changes. Otherwise stamens won't open up and no pollen. That happened to my rocoto and it may take few weeks until you see something to happen.

Capsicum history from an archaeological perspective (link)

Interesting I was watching the full video before sleep :) I did not know that baccatum came frist? Also Aji Panca is baccatum? If it's hybrid with chinense. How you can call it just "baccatum" The growth style and flower is chinense but setting only one pod at each branch.

When I searched big mustard mama and naga brain photos it just look like it would be cross between those. BMM is about 1M SHU and Naga Brain is 1.38M SHU. May be a bit disapoint on the heat level but let see. I like how it looks even it seems fake. If it's very tasty and hot enough it would be...

    Pepper X

It may be. Color is same and very wrinkled. The guy I bought it, has thousands of those seeds and it's monopoly if one seller owns all the seeds or it just a scam. But is it a scam if it's hotter than Carolina Reaper? I know how hot is Carolina Reaper and it's 20-30% hotter than my Peach...

    Pepper X

And its big. Probably 15 gram. Only one pod on the plant. Comparing to T-Rex the plant is same size and doing atleast seven pods.

    Pepper X

I bought this from ebay and seeds came from the Italy seller. I just wanted be sure what is it? It does not look anything I have ever seen? I'm doing taste test end of the week and I can then is it hot or very hot. I think its gonna be atleast super hot category. What you guys think?

breeding Crossing Pubescens with Baccatum by using Eximium as bridge?

Even if I would like a professional to handle the crossbreed, it is part of the fun to try it for yourself. No one forbids sourcing seeds from other hybrids. In the past I had germination problems with eximium whose seeds were from Italy. Rocopica does not cross with anything else than pubescens...
