Apologies for my lack of updating but time appears to have stood still this season here in the UK. Plenty of growth but it’s nearly September and I need more colour in the garden. Last season I was weeks ahead but let’s hope the frost doesn’t coming too early and all works out well in the end...

Marc sorry to hear you are short on bonnets besides a few Black River. This season is not as good as last. I certainly have the pods but they are slow to colour. The Walton and Falmouth are both doing well .... especially the Walton which has a good shape .. Falmouth similar to the Black River...

Marc I am struggling too with the Yellow P. Dreadie but the Red variation has plenty of immature pods .... other bonnets have flown ... UKs hottest day for July 36.9 centigrade 98.42F
