SKULLBIKER'S "Whats old is new for 22 glog"

"A few Billy Bombs and PeppaPeach in the back." I haven't been able to spend much time on here for a while now so I missed it if you mentioned if you enjoyed the PeppaPeach. I assume so since you are growing them again? I plan on growing a few this season myself.

    shopping Silicone Seed Starters?

I have a couple of those that are gray. Same brand. They are well made and should last for years. I used them last year and had no problems with them. Squeezing out the seedlings was very easy. They are a little pricey but feel like they will last for years. Don't know what else to say HM...

Growing in the Pacific NorthWest Community GrowLog

My fault Paul. We have been dealing with fungus gnats in our potted plants and have been fighting them. A layer of sand prevents them from laying eggs in the potting mix. It also helps prevent those that are already in the potting mix from surviving. Ive had fungus gnats on my mind and in my...

Growing in the Pacific NorthWest Community GrowLog

Good luck with your overwinters Paul. An idea to thwart the aphids is a layer of sand on top of your media. Maybe an inch or so.

Thanks for the reply DR. I wouldn't say Im getting after it yet but just looking. I did find a few places online that sell them but was hoping to find recommendations for good phenotypes I guess. Im sure you've bought seeds that didnt turn out like they were supposed to. Just trying to...

shopping Looking for Chocolate Habanero Seeds

Starting a plan for my 2022 pepper grow. I had a good habanero harvest this year that included both orange and Caribbean reds and would like to add a chocolate hab to the coming season and wondered if anyone has a recommended seed source that they have had good success with.

    container Grow bags vs. Pots.

I just use a mild bleach solution and a good rinse. There will probably be some fine roots that have grown into the fabric. I just pick out what I can/feel like. Let them dry in the sunshine and reuse. I haven't had any issues. Drip irrigation would be nice. I haven't done it but I do try...

bottling Why are there so many articles stating hot filling is dangerous?

Are you saying that anything that is pressure canned has to be acidified?

    container Grow bags vs. Pots.

I have used the fabric pots for several years. You're right about the size. The 5 gallon ones are not 5 gallon. The 7's are not 7 gallon, etc. I grow in both the 5's and 7's and they both will successfully grow plants. The 7 'gallon' pots I have are tan color and I prefer them over the...

    favorite Favorite supermarket sauce?

Hope you like it. I believe it's cheaper on amazon if you cant find it locally. Like $6.94. Of course shipping might add up if you don't have prime.

    favorite Favorite supermarket sauce?

A little while back I bought a bottle of Tropical Pepper Co. Scotch Bonnet sauce at Food Lion. I got hooked on it and ended up buying several bottles. Now I'm about out and couldn't find it anymore! Oh, well. I have plenty of peppers fermenting that will become sauce to last me till next...

    PaulG 2021

Nice looking pods there Paul. I especially like the Beth Boyds and the Fatalii's! I grew some seeds that I saved from last years "red" Beth Boyd's. (see my avatar) This year they were all yellow. They have let me down twice now. Last year I was expecting them to be yellow like Beth Boyds...

    free Free Seeds for Veterans

I'll take you up on the offer. I already grew some of your seeds so I'll try it again. Since this will have to be a grow that extends into cold weather, it will have to be an indoor grow so just send 1 variety if you would. I haven't been on here since the new site is up so I'll have to...
