    misc Stuck Fermenter Weight

Success! Seems that most everyone is leaning toward the thermal expansion/contraction method.  So I ran my errands today and the store I stopped by didnt have the compressed air duster stuff so I came on back home.  Bou put the idea in my head that this wasn't worth a whole, whole lot of effort...

    misc Stuck Fermenter Weight

So far I tried sitting the jar in hot water and tapping the jar upside down on the kitchen counter to dislodge the weight and it didnt work.  I don't have any computer duster stuff but I have to run some errands today and will try to pick up some.   Thanks for the ideas.

    misc Stuck Fermenter Weight

So help me figure this out!  We were cleaning up some wide mouth jars and these fermentation weights.  During the wash in the sink, this weight found its way into this pint size glass jar and became stuck.  I mean as in it won't budge.  It won't wiggle side to side.  It want pull out.  It...

Not wanting to take a wait and see approach I did some surfing around and have decided to treat this as a magnesium deficiency.  It seems that ph below 5.5 can cause magnesium uptake issues.  There are other nutrients affected by low ph but I looked those up and they didnt match my symptoms. ...

I have some yellow spotting going on that I cant find an answer to.  These spots are showing up on several different varieties.  I've searched the webs for similar spots and cant find anything.  Bacterial leaf spot keeps coming up but I don't have the brown usually associated with that.  At...

Good looking bonnets there CD.  I'll be watching there progress.  Especially the Beth Boyds.  Were yours yellow?  I grew some last year (along with some other people here) that were red.  The pod shape was awesome (in my photo to the left) with a very UFO shape.  I saved seeds and have one...

Thanks Paul.  Yeah, the Blue Mystery and Gala are really growing well.  Guess I got lucky with seed stock because I'm not doing anything special.  I looked at the dates on my Rhombodium and it was up in 10 days.  Hopefully yours will sprout soon.  The lanceolatum just seems to be a no-go for me...

    Tybo2021

Been awhile since I last updated so I took a couple hours this morning to pot up some plants and get a few pics.  Things were getting cramped for some of them in the solo cups.  I tried a bag of this potting mix last year and had decent results so it is my main mix this year.  I get it locally...

Things are looking good CD.  I'll put in a vote that you get some awesome weather there in the PNW. I'll also put in a vote to keep the second datil plant.  Never know what might happen and besides, they are a very good pepper!

Hey.......Welcome to the glogs CD!  I was wondering when you'd show up.   I hope the Moz Piri Piri do well for you.  Mine were 100% germination so you will have no problem with them! Congrats on the plots at the community garden.  800 sq. ft should turn out a pretty good crop so good luck with...
