sun How much sun is too much?

i don't think you should worry to much about it, that process is happening for me even indoors. its probably just the plant getting rid of leaves it doesn't need and start growing other leaves. if you were watering it to much you would see white salt looking thing on the leaves called edema.

sun Cold Weather coming this weekend. Central Europe.

according to my understanding the chilies can survive all the way down to 0C, at 10c it will stop producing fruit for a while. so you can most likely just leave them outside, but maybe wait for someone else with more knowledge to answer. but they probably will do all fine.

    lighting Desk Lamp Grow Light

i would agree with Karpasruuti, i did the same. bough purple lights, and it started to get annoying as it lighted everything up so it looked like a purple disco. can even see the lights from the outside of the house, so i ended up building a box for the lamp so the light gets entrapped inside...

shopping Are there any respectable places to get Carolina Reaper seeds or plants from Northern Illinois?

i have 2 Carolina reapers, i can ship from Norway if needed i have no clue what shipping would cost but probably not that much if it weights little as few seeds will do, so i could send some seeds away once the reaper pepper turn red probably shouldn't take so long before it does as its been...

    nutrients Superhot pepper autopot setup?

indoor Mark what flowers have been pollinated

i want to create my own chili, was thinking maybe i could be able to make it more flavorful and less strong for being a reaper by cross mixing it with a weaker chili, the bird eye chili is around 100.000 scoville, i eat that raw without issue. but im not so sure about reaper if il manage to eat...

indoor Mark what flowers have been pollinated

i have managed to be able to cross pollinate bird eye pollen with reaper, it looks like reaper so its probably not 100% cross yet, but once the fruit is ripped il take the seeds of it and grow a new one from the reaper plant and continue with my goal.

indoor Indoor grow, tent size for 240W light?

nah wouldnt spend 99$ on something like that for growing chili, thats more then what the tent costed. the tent was something i bough to hopefully save electricy during winter as it would be cheaper to heat up the tent rather then the entire room, if i was growing cannabis that would give profit...

my pepper have been giving me pepper for about 2.5 years now, but i do it indoors so its summer all year. if you plant it in the wild it probably would be different. i have peppers planted in different times so i have pepper coming pretty much every 2-3 week. got 2 plastic bags full of it in the...

health Whats the purpose of leaves on my pepper plants? Should I snip them off? Sounds like a dumb question but im new to this. Pics*

why would you remove them? i have never removed any leaves of my peppers, i let them grow and remove their leaves by itself whenever the plant feels for it. Eventually leaves the plant dont need anymore will fall off.

the purpose of leaves is that they work like solar panels do for us humans, they generate the energy the plant needs to grow.

    lighting New To Grow Lights

a growtent is not needed, a good lamp should be enough. growtent will just make it worse for the pepper as the humidity will ruin the peppers longterm inside a growtent. atleast was so for me, growtent made my peppers look depressing, once i removed the door and keept it opened all the time it...

indoor Indoor grow, tent size for 240W light?

I'm using a Lighthouse 100x50x180cm(H) growtent for my chili. inside it i have 4x 60cm, 6400K, 24W lamps and 2 smaller lights to cover more chilies, i have the lamp about 10cm away from the chilies. the 4x 6400k 24W lamps probably would been enough. but the growtent i would say is not necessary...
