A few shots of Jumping spiders having 'lunch'   Small jumper eating an even smaller jumper:   Jeez, talk about having a bad day. See those 2 little nuggets at the bottom of this shot. Well, that insect was just relaxing and having its morning crap and reading the newspaper and then ... BAM ...

shopping Gibberellic Acid GA-3 (Potent plant growth hormone)

There is an old thread here about GA-3 http://thehotpepper.com/topic/43228-seed-sprouting-experiment-with-gibberellic-acid-ga3/   There doesn't seem to be any definitive conclusion from that thread though.

Yeah, it's definitely open for debate, for smaller critters, no doubt eagles are fearsome and extremely efficient predators but how many human attacks are attributed to eagles? Cassowaries have a history of severely injuring and even killing humans.

    help needed-insect pepper spray prototype

I've had no experience with commercial hot pepper sprays but I did make my own using orange Habs.   Freakin' hell, it messed me up more than the insects. 'Cause I'm a bloke, well we don't need no wussy face masks ... anyway ... wind change just as I'm spraying and I cop a face & lung full of it...

Wow, that's actually cute. :P       Haha, TBH I wouldn't actually be surprised if our dumb-ass government were to do something like that!       Sure mate, no problem. My address is:   The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20500, United States   ... honest!!!      ...

    Anyone growing Yaki blue?

I wouldn't say huge growth but then again they don't get a hell of a lot of direct sunlight where they are growing. They'd be comparable with my white bhuts but quicker than my peach bhuts and naga bhut.

Great shots, Roo :P Really like the wolf spider shot. What's your new lens?   What sort of snake is that? All I know about snakes is that pretty much every type around where I live can kill you, so I keep well and truly away :P     From that list we have Eastern Brown, Eastern States Tiger...

    chinense White Bhut Jolokia

No ripe pods yet but a fair bit of variation in shape. Both of these are on the same plant:     Definitely seems to be a heavy producer. My plant is not even 2ft tall and has over 50 pods so far.

    Anyone growing Yaki blue?

Here's what my pods look like. This is at 2 weeks of age:     Looks similar to your pods, Kraken, maybe a bit darker.

    chinense Peach Jolokia Selected Strain

I had my 1st one last week. It hurt like HELL ... chopped it up and put it with Butter Chicken. I can eat my Yellow 7 Pots no problemo but jeez the bhut was nasty ... wasn't expecting it to be that bad!

    Time Change. What's the point?

Yeah, we have daylight savings in most of Australia. I don't mind it, gives me more daylight after work in summer to do stuff. Although it does confuse the  umm ... err ... less educated types (ie: Queenslanders :P), they think the 'extended daylight' will fade their curtains LMAO.

    chinense Peach Jolokia Selected Strain

Mine are doing well, both are over-winters. Decent sized pods, about 3.5" long. I think I originally got the seeds from http://www.wildfirechilli.com.au/

    Anyone growing Yaki blue?

That's some booming growth! I think you have a pretty unique strain happening there, Kraken ... it's the first pepper I've seen that's becoming tranparent (a real Ghost pepper) !!! ;)
