hi guys just an update... the weather has increased alot here, a couple of my pepper plants have got some growth, they are about 6 inches tall. i have quite a few seedlings that seem to be very slow at developing, i really dont know why, my other peppers are still small, most are about 1..2...

hi guys just an update, it seem that when i potted my seedlings, i packedthe soil too tight. ive repotted the seedlings that all seemmto wanting to grow, they all had this bulbous part of te stem that lookedlikeit was bursting to breakout. they are now in a much less packed pot so we'll see...

Thanks, I don't really think it's the soil, I think its me overwatering and causing the issue. But I'm playing sage, new seeds on the go so we'll see how we get on.

No I don't think so. I'll just drop you a line and tell you how things are. I grew some tomatoes about 5 yrs ago in a jolly tunnel, they turned out great. I'm a bit pissed that I've had these losses with this damping off shit. But I've got more seeds sprouting, so on ward...

What I have done, I've ditched the compost, using some good stuff and spouting some more.. 60% of my plants have withered. I'll let you know how things go Chaza

So far what I have learnt... the pathogen I seem to gave in my brand new soil is incurable.. so what do I do if I don't know how I got it.. I could do more seeds only to have them killed.. My thoughts right now is to keep going and see what survives... a lot of my tomato plants seem to be...

what i have done today, considering what has been said about damping.. ive been too eager to put them in larger pots to grow, only to cause them harm. so i have taken them out of the pots an replanted them in much less soil so they can develop stronger roots. they now sit in about 2in soil...
