 I doubt this will ever work unless you put it into dogs mouth by force. My friend, who used to smuggle weed across the border into italy always tossed some superhot powder around the bags. When dogs sniffed the bag they just ren away squeeling from the pain. No way they would eat a hot pepper...

I want to see that :) just imagine...walking in the forrest, suddenly, there is 1000 pepper plants growing all around in the middle of nowhere :)

I'll find that out next year.. This season choc habs were the hottest i grew. For next year i have planned to grow some reapers, primos etc... I wanted to buy seeds from primos directly, but on his website are out of stock and i dont know if he sends to europe...

  I took my mom's old coffee grinder. Needless to point out, its never going to be used for coffee again :) I ground a bunch of chocolate habs in it..i was sneezing for good 10 min from all that dust in the air after i opened it. And I allowed it to sit for 5 min after milling.

What do you guys use to grind it into so fine powder? i often have alot of whole seeds left..

Greetings!   Sorry i have been absent for so long, but i was bussy alot...graduation, student job, hunting for regular job etc....and i completly forgot about this awesome website.   So...my growing season this year was a blast.  Chocolate habs are trully awesome plants and huge producers...

Damn dude....I dont know what to do to get peppers like your here in Slovenia. It looks like peppers grow like this only where they originate from. You guys get from 1 plant more than i  get from 5...Anyway.. i hope you will manage to use/sell all of them and have another great year next season.

Recently, I picked a few peppers every day. I guess, for next season i need to choose more early and high yielding strains of hot peppers. Any ideas? Also, dont know why, but it looks like its almost impossible to get decent flasks for hot pepper sauce here in Slovenia, so i purchased 32 of this...

Slowly i'm starting picking season too. Today I picked a few small habs and NuMex suaves, red cherry smalls and a few ''tiger skins''. For now, everything goes into freezer until there will be sufficiant amount of them to start my first ferment.

  I'm growing this ''heatless habanero'' aswell.. Mine are so called NuMex Suave orange. They're suppost to have about 850 SHU..They taste nice tho, more or less exactly as habaneros.

Damn nice man..you will have enough pods to drown yourself in :) Is the big one from this year or overwintered? 

I dont know why it turns them around but the point is still visible. NuMex Suave started to gain some orange colour, (here it looks like its yellow but its not), ''tiger skin'' are getting red too, red habanero is full of smaller pods. So far, I cant complain.

Soil must not be too warm or too cold. PH was never measured, but in pots is soil from compost heap and two years aged cow manure, i water them with rain water, about one to two times per week, it depends on the weather. In garden i added manure this year, and also other crop around them grows...

This have some logic in it, but if i compare this with other plants, they normaly grow better in gardens than pots since they have more soil available...

A few pictures..ebay strikes again, this is clearly not scorpion, since pods are growing upwards, bhut looks like cayene, the rest is more or less what is suppost to be.

I'll took some pictures after i find time...we are preparing for a rock festival here and i just cant find the time for peppers between this, school and work...Although, i harvested one of ''tiger skins'', and this one was abit spicy..not much, but i think they will be gret for mild sauces or...

Greetings all, reporting again after a long time. I was busy at school and work and didn't have much time to post. After more than one month, summer finally came to slovenia. Temperatures now are perfect for peppers.  On the negative side, it appears that ebay sellers sent me some pepper seeds...
