    Cycling Anyone ?

I am a bicycle commuter in Chicago, but not a high mileage cyclist.  At first it was a little scary, but I have gotten used to it. I've been run off the road/forced to stop on a dime by aggressive drivers and hit by uber/lyft drivers who don't pay any attention to the bike lane.  I'm hyper...

This summer I am dedicating to building a new business. I've completed one certification and just signed up for the 2nd program today. I feel good about it, but man there are a lot of things to do. I've been keeping it on the DL from most people until I'm closer to launch, but I just had to...

    spirits Curious about Whisky

I was going to suggest RedBreast 12 for the "expensive" irish whiskey actually.  Redbreast was the first more expensive Irish whiskey I ever bought.  It's good stuff.  If I see it on sale I pick it up.  I just recently tried Glendalough and it was pretty good.  Irish whiskey has never been my go...

    spirits Curious about Whisky

Bourbon tends to be a little sweeter than scotch.  Scotch is very earthy, woody, sometimes smoky in my opinion.  I only really drink scotch on occasion, but a spoonful of room temp mineral water to a scotch or nice irish whiskey really can change the flavor and make it seem smoother. (NEVER use...

    spirits Curious about Whisky

I just looked that up and it doesn't sound like it is really "whisky".  Molasses and rice... Have you tried it?  Sounds like rum.  I don't do rum too much these days.  But I fell in love with seco (sort of like the white whiskey version of rum) in Panama.

    spirits Curious about Whisky

Helps that I live down the street from a place with 400 whiskeys, about 35 of them are only $3/shot.  I've tried a lot of the flights, including the famous Pappy van Winkle, and sometimes just go in to try a new whiskey or two (last time I was there I had a whiskey aged in a vermouth barrel, it...

    spirits Curious about Whisky

My advice would be to go take a distillery tour or go to a bar that specializes in whiskey before buying really nice bottles.  They can get pricey and some people just don't like whiskey.  The flavors are different because the mash is different, because the barrels they age them in are...

How can you just pick one thing? If by favorite you mean you would eat it everyday no variants, then pizza margherita DOP with pistacchio gelato afterwards from Gelateria Chaplin.

'Scuse my while I humblebrag, but my aunt and I raised over $1500 in 6 hrs today for Downs Syndrome research. I battled the sun, wind, and 2 thunderstorms in the process. Exhausted and going to bed now.

    marketing Good T-Shirt websites?

My family owns a Direct to Garment printer and an embroidery machine.  I used to run the shop.  One thing to keep in mind about DTG is that 100% cotton will hold the image best.  If you start messing with poly blends they need to be majority cotton or the ink will not penetrate and set into the...

JKD, Tai Chi, & Systema are my core training these days. I've worked a little in BJJ, aikido, and grappling but I don't train for sport fighting. I did karate and sport fighting from 6-18. I do qigong too but that's not martial arts, just really helps better one's self mentally and physically...

Thanks, this part should be the easy part, getting an instructors certificate for martial arts... Been doing martial arts since I was 6 and used to teach kiddos karate back in the day, but this stuff now is a little more serious than sport martial arts. Just hoping I make it out of the...

Its not the age thing, I've been 30 for almost a year now, just not really satisfied with my job(s) even though I've gotten to where my photo and design work is a large part of how I sustain myself. I want to change my career path (its not really a path) and then location. It is just going to...
