I started my Datils late and it got too hot before they could really take off. The Ebay Datil has been the most vigorous and the only one to set fruit so far.
I didn't know such a product existed. Is it the product making everything appear bluish-green? I'll check it out, sounds easier than using a shade cloth.
I'll take bugs over this scorching heat right now š Garden is in survival mode and very little is happening. Peri Peri appears to be handling this heat the best, even better than chiltepin.
Prairie Spice did not disappoint. The pods are huge and the plant is strong. This one grew from a cinder block and still performed well. There are 3 more good sized pods still on the plant. Iāll definitely be growing this one out again and give it some more space next time.
Was starting to give up hope on this seed deal and then today, 1 month later they show. Never did get a response from seller but glad I finally have my seeds.
I havenāt seen any tracking info and Etsy already wants me to leave feedback like itās been delivered. I didnāt leave a bad review but did ask for a refund.
My next guess would be Pimiento Redondo Calabrese which looks very similar to cherry bomb. Itās more likely a cherry bomb but I like to think it could be something more exotic.
Are these peppers in the ground or containers? Did the fruit set after being planted out or in the starter cup? I'm leaning towards picking early if the goal is more production.
