Hopefully you get it figured out. In think temp is a big suspect, remember I am talking soil temp not ambient temp. Also is temp consistent or is it only warm enough while the drier is on? I agree to not over water, but I like to water the media really good at first just to make sure everything...

For me my potted plants always suffer. I've grown in 5- 20 gallon fabric pots, but it climate is too hot and dry. I think plastic buckets would work better or a drip system so that I can water several times in a day would help.

I've never used an aero garden or even seen one in person, but seems like you could drop a small aquarium heater in the solution, you would just need to make sure the heater stays submerged. Cold or not you seem to be doing very well.
