favorite Wild Varieties-What is your favorite

I love my 19198 and Galapagoense....just saying. All good though, you can't go wrong, but if you go by germination time you probably won't grow the galapagoense. Love those fuzzy little guys...   Don't judge your photos by John's standards the Pr0digal_son will not be out done...

    CaneDog - Off-Season Season 2018/19

I tried the pepper/tomato graft and failed. If you don't get the pepper to stick to the tomato roots...my next try would be onto Manzano/Rocoto root stock. I've had Manzano root systems almost 10' across...some baccatums grow good roots as well. Really hoping the tomato roots stick though, you...

    stc's comeback down south grow...

Ok...so my prediction was pretty close. Except it only took until this evening and now every variety (second round seeds) has at least one hook. Forgot to mention I had no primo hooks yesterday either, but they showed up today. Went from 0 to 4 or 5 fataliis...One tiny Reaper hook. I'm going to...

    CaneDog - Off-Season Season 2018/19

So you start your chinenses after your pubes??? I always start the chinenses first. Little ones are looking good, no helmet heads. You must plant them deep enough,

seeds Starting Seeds/ seedlings in the cold basement

I don't know the size of your light rack??? But a small 2x4 grow tent from amazon isn't that expensive. Easily taken down for storage and it would solve your problem for years to come...   I have also used mylar styrofoam sheathing to make enclosures but...   This 2x4 tent is only $60 you can...

I suggest a DWC setup for those cuttings. They sell bubble buckets for a reasonable price, but you could make something just as good with some plastic totes, a hole saw, net pots, air pump and air stones. Its like a larger version of your aerogarden. I like general hydroponics nutes. I have...

    stc's comeback down south grow...

One of my favorite parts of the grow. Every time I check...new life emerging! True leaves starting to show...ahhh. Still a few no-shows on the fresh seeds...Fatalii, Reaper, Chocolate Devil's Tongue and Bhut Orange Copenhagen...but the Tepins pulled them selves off the no-show list this...

    stc's comeback down south grow...

So...I start looking for some new Goat's Weed seeds and this pic comes up on dozens of sites. Which is funny since it's from my 2013 grow log...wonder what the poor folks that actually order from them receive??? Probably not what they ordered for sure.

Extremely slow Haps & Bhut J

Ghost, habaneros and other chinense varieties take a while to start flowering and once they do will typically drop several rounds of blooms before they finally start to set pods. The only varieties that can be even more picky and take longer are pubescense.  Be patient and don't over feed and...

Looks like you're starting some Jade plants as well...cool. Yeah, I only asked because I knew you used Pepper Joes for some of your seeds and the BOC I planted from them one the only variety that hasn't popped just yet. Great to finally be on the board, got more hooks today from the Pepper Lover...
