    Deolater 2019

Looking great up to this point! We're having a bit of a heatwave next door in South Carolina too...98 the next three days. Even when fully watered mid-day my plants look terrible but bounce  back by sunset. Tepin X Lemon drop sounds interesting! I have a tepin x ???(chinense) that sprouted from...

Yet another "What's happening to my plants" post

I think Paul G is right on the money...snails or slugs. Some of the leaf damage looks like it also could have been caused by wind as well as sun. Even after a good hardening off the leaves can get pretty battered by the wind. Many of my "indoor" leaves got shredded by a thunder storm not long...

    Windchicken's 2019 NOT a glog...

Great Video Gary...and that Chile Roaster!!! You better keep a close eye on that thing or it may end up in SC. I never realized exactly how close you were to where my family is from. Most of my family came up around Nacogdoches and Lufkin only about an hour down the road from DeSoto Parish...

    stc's comeback down south grow...

I will try to isolate some for sure. The first couple pods to ripen should be true already because it was the first to pod up in its neighborhood.

    stc's comeback down south grow...

One of them has the right pod shape...the other is way off, no color on either plant yet but they should start coloring up within a week or so. I have a bunch that don't look completely true. The Bhuts don't look true, but they do look really mean. Sometimes "nots" are a nice surprise. We shall...

    Windchicken's 2019 NOT a glog...

Hey Gary...great to see you on here. I fall into the same neglected glog category over the past several years I try, but always end up at least feeling too busy to keep it going. Hope to see more from DeSoto Parish this season. I know your grow will be epic as always.

    Bigcedar 2019

Funny you named your snake fluffy...I have a good friend that had a Burmese Python of around 12ish feet named fluffy. Fluffy unexpectedly latched on to his head one day, he has pretty cool scars now. I have a small Rosy Boa much more manageable. Plants and property look fantastic!

Eggs under leaves or something else?

I agree with CD,,,edema or the beginnings of it. Look into more air movement...the affected leaves will remain blemished, but new growth should start looking better if you get enough air moving. Doubtful its any kind of bug infestation if you're not finding it on more plants. Best of...

Guru's Garden - Traveling the World in Search of Peppers

I love me some fabric pots! How many yards of soil does it take to fill them all??? I know you recycle and compost...but damn. Can't wait to see you crawling through that jungle again this year.

    stc's comeback down south grow...

Rick! Long time no hear buddy! I'm a little South of the Tarheels...more in the Gamecock/Clemson neighborhood. It's really nice down here...I guess it's more over from where I was. This humidity feels like home though...almost like I'm back down on the Gulf Coast.

    stc's comeback down south grow...

I had three sources.    PepperLover Pepper Joe's and The Chili Pepper Institute at NMSU   So far 2 of the 3 have produced "nots",,,won't know much more until i start to get some color on them. I definitely have some that look true as well. Time will tell.    A few pics... Trinidad Scorpion...
