Must have patience if you want to grow peppers and bring them to full ripeness. Some just take longer than others. It's basically a hurry up and wait kinda thing.
I'm gonna have to agree with Joyner here. I get absolutely no green bell pepper taste from a BG. To me they are almost a bland fruity, slightly chinense taste yet delicious. Almost like a MoA Scotch bonnet in flavor but less flavorful if that makes sense. MoA's have a much stronger flavor.
To me it looks like broad mite damage. They aren't the easiest bug to see by any means.
Yes, calcium is an immobile nutrient. Where the plant uptakes it is where it stays.
I would have to go with MoA Scotch Bonnets, Bahamian Goats, or a JA Red Hab. Please don't make me choose! All 3 outstanding in taste and not to hard on your guts at all.
