    Silicic acid

Apologies - I call it brew. Yea, like a compost tea, but with Willow shoots chopped up and soaked in water for a few days to release all the hormones into the water. The only important thing is to get cuttings from the fresh fresh shoots in spring - hence it's a seasonal thing.

    Silicic acid

One of my favorite seasonal gotos is Willow Brew. I make a batch early spring from fresh Willow cuttings. These are rich in Salicylic Acid and Indolebutyric Acid, hormones that promote growth and boost the immune system of the plants. Seedlings love the stuff.

That is awesome Scott. Hell, you keep yourself busy! But job well done. It never really ends with irrigation - you think you're done and there is always something else going wrong or needing adjustments lol - in my experience at least. I have a float valve in my tank and I just couldn't get...

    2018 - The Farm

No man! That is so unbelievably F%$@ up - shit man, my condolences! My biggest issue is dogs at the farm running through the seedling beds. That is just so not cool!

    PeriPeri's Grow 2018: South Africa

Hi Trent, got any flame throwers in your stash, could come in handy right now!  I hear ya - that plant is toast. We got one week of rains and the irrigation on top of that - which was the root of the issue. Next year I will have drip irrigation and a rain sensor on the list. I will have to...

    PeriPeri's Grow 2018: South Africa

Hi Sawyer, thank you for popping in buddy!   I have destroyed and done the necessary, but I am still not convinced it is rot. The flesh of these pods are not rotting - the plants are not affected at all, just the pods. I still am not ruling out Stipps or hectic Calcium issues. It doesn't...

    2018 - The Farm

Trent buddy, looking spectacular - really awesome work! I hear you say you were tight for space... dude stop mucking about now - I think you should buy the neighboring farm too. And if they don't want to sell, I recon you could just invade them. I'm pretty sure you have a tank stashed away...

    PeriPeri's Grow 2018: South Africa

Hi Scott, yea - not sure what the problem is there. Its not on the leaves - it is just the pods doing that stuff. But I will throw caution into the wind and pull the plant - it is good advice :)

    PeriPeri's Grow 2018: South Africa

Hi Rick, thank you for the advice. I think you may have some good advice there with that one particular plant. I will pull that one for sure. I have lots more of that variety - so no worries there. I have picked that Ancho, it is brown. I plan to dry the brown ones to make the mole - or do...

    PeriPeri's Grow 2018: South Africa

All the plants got a dosing of CalMag, Megnesium Sulphate & Nitrosol in a soluble form. So I am hoping I will see an end to the curly leaf scenarios :)
