Ok, the thing with the brown spots on the chillies has not gotten worse since I added the copper soap and switched off the irrigation. It is sad to see pods like this though :(

So I did the taste test on the Trinidad 7Pot Jonah X UFO Orange - magnificent flavour. A very tasty pepper, citrus/orange rind flavours, sweet - just perfect heat... I like this one a lot!  

Awesome Rick! I do love onions and the only thing that has put me off is how long it takes for them to grow. Almost a year for regular onions. I have never hear of long/short day onions. I don't think they sell those here - I may have to do some research!

  Hi Dane, thank you for this info - I did not know this. I was surmising that something was missing to cause seeds to germinate in the  pod, but water is probably the culprit here for sure. There has been too much!   Urghhh! I am at the chopping chillies again - this is the part I do not enjoy.  

Kurtovszka Kapia   Scarlet Lantern Peru - not as hot as a red Habanero, but also amazing flavour... sweet and delicious!   Marconi Red... I think a bit smaller than I anticipated, but tasty as!

Those Antillaise Caribbeans were fantastic. Wow, that smell and flavour were just heaven. I'm not one for habaneros, but these were really awesome!
