Scotch Bonnet-Foodarama is what crossed with the 7 pot Jonah in Patrick's back yard. I am currently growing some f? from Vladan's Rainbow Chillies. Bumpy gnarly 4-5 lobed red scotch bonnets. I sent Jamison some pics and he will be posting them soon.

Great topic Dennis. I have a few FtL scotch bonnets growing right now. Your pods have interesting shape/texture. The original pods were yellow, four lobed, and had a beautiful cup-and-saucer shape to them. Excellent flavor. I look forward to see how they grow out. Steve

Great question. There is no difference. It is a regular scotch bonnet. The moniker "MoA" or Ministry of Agriculture, just indicates where it came from. It happens to be a fine strain of regular scotch bonnet.

Jamison has the most isolated MoA seed in the US! He's a good man! I never really left, just haven't contributed in a while. No more desk top or photobucket, just the cell phone. That's proper MoA in the making. You've got the goods my friend..

As the plant growth stabilizes you will get more "A" pods.

Yes, I agree that the red FDA is a great addition of chinense flavor without over powering the dish. Red scotch bonnets are  definitely in Jamaican markets. There are also red scotch bonnets at the Ministry of agriculture. They are rare. But yes, true red scotch bonnets do exist.   Job is going...

Greg, I will confirm the MoA plants have relatively flat/wide stems. At first forking, these plants will fork 3-4 times instead of 2.
