  I'm starting to harden off my babies in about another two weeks or so. So probably right around Mother's Day depending on the weather.

Hey there big guy! I've been using treated landscape ties for years. The only drawback is you need to replace them from time to time. Otherwise they are cheap and durable.

Yep, we get them all the time. It is just another way for some of these organizers or cities to squeeze more money out of us......

  Honestly, it's not as much as you'd think. Most weeks I can water all trays and plants with about 6 gallons of water.       Those are Jump Start light stands. I was going to make homemade stands and fixtures but my engineering skills are most lacking.

I always recommend getting your soil tested before adding anything. A deficiency is generally easy to correct but an excess is not. If you don't have a county extension office or university to send a sample to, you can always buy a DIY testing kit.
