    Blisters 2017 LED Coco grow

No problem Rick! I continue to be impressed at how fast things grow in coco once they get their legs. And let's not forget the rootballs! I've changed things up a little bit this year and have noticed that my plants aren't nearly as dark green as they had been in the past when just using Micro...

Looks like you're getting it figured out, but I've found Tapatalk works pretty good for posting pics from your phone.

It was an article in one of the online medicinal magazines. I didn't know if it was ok to link to it so I left it off. I can pm it to you though. Neil

Thanks Scott! I'm already noticing daily differences in my plants. It's pretty amazing how rapidly they grow once they get their legs in coco. Neil

    Blisters 2017 LED Coco grow

I've been digging around and it appears that humic and fulvic acids break down the nutrients and allow them to be utilized by the plants in a more efficient way.

    Stickman's 2017 Minimalist Glog

Looks like everything is progressing nicely. I've never topped any plants before, but may give it a go this year. Pretty interested in the aerogarden as well. Did you figure out how to give it some heat to help with germination? Neil

    Potting Up Sizes

Nice score on the pots. I've never grown in the quantity that you are. I think my largest number was close to 35, but that was when I first started and had the room. I've moved twice since then and I'm limited to getting things started early in the spare bathtub and doing what I can to control...

    Blisters 2017 LED Coco grow

Thanks guys! No I haven't tried rapid start, but have looked at it a few times. I did pick up some Diamond Nectar to see how the fulvic acid adds to my grow. It's another one of "those things" that the medicinal growers mention on a regular basis stating that it aids in nutrient uptake. I...

    Blisters 2017 LED Coco grow

Small update to my grow. My plants are progressing to their first true set of leaves. I have 1 red Bhut 1 BOC 5 P. Dreadie I'd also like to add that I just received seed from windchicken (Gary) and will be adding some Chocolate Nagabrain's to my grow. I tried a small amount of placenta that...

    Potting Up Sizes

Do keep in mind that I am 2726 miles north of your current location so there are some pretty big differences between your grow environment and mine - namely the temperature. I'd imagin that you can get away with potting up to the largest pot available from seedling and limit the watering. I'd...

    Potting Up Sizes

I don't overwinter anymore. I got tired of battling aphids. I start new plants from seed each year and grow entirely in coco. I get larger plants and bigger yields. This was my second harvest before the season finished. Watering less in my climate and with my short grow season equals small...

    Potting Up Sizes

Sounds like you have a similar grow season as I do. We're at 5F right now. My plant out date is May 21-ish. Then I have a grow season of around 90 days. It's a short season to say the least. I had used soil and had kept going to larger and larger pots, tried over wintering plants, but never...

    Potting Up Sizes

I do multiple pot ups in a year, though I am in a different situation. My temps are quite cool here right now and I've found that if I go too big too fast, I end up with pots staying wet for longer periods of time. This usually leads to a green sludge on the surface. I've also found that the...

    Blisters 2017 LED Coco grow

I just checked it 18 more times. It's still sprouting and is the only one to pop in coco. I think they need me to check on them 46 more times before they sprout... Oh the excitement of a start to the new grow season. Neil

    Blisters 2017 LED Coco grow

Thanks for the offer Malarky! It would appear that I spoke too soon on the BOC's. I've got 2 started and may find more popping as time goes on. Seems like they just needed a bit more time. Them P. Dreadie on the other hand have been great. Neil Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk

No sooner did I say that I haven't seen a BOC pop I find one has germinated in a coffee filter and one has popped in coco. Maybe they just needed to hear me say that I really wanted to try them this year. Neil Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk

Yep I'm back for another year of Coco and LED lights! I haven't tried the FloraNova line though I have read about it being VERY thick. In fact one of the hydro stores I frequent gives you a bit that goes into your drill so you can give it a good mix before using it. I've actually stayed away...
