With the kind generosity of Matt, I am now in possession of some P. Dreadie seeds and a few other varieties I haven't had before. I'll be joining the P. Dreadie glog next year. Hard to believe that I'll be getting the early starts going in 4-6 weeks from now. Can't wait to try these! Neil

Washing it depends on the quality you buy. If you get the cheap bricks from a hardware store then yes. Wash it. If you buy quality coco from a hydro store you're usually ok. Especially if you buy the loose bags. Neil

Geeze sounds like it was a bit rough for a bit there. Hopefully it's in the past and you're able to move on. I'm limited in terms of space as well, but the few plants I do grow really help me to maintain the last thread of sanity I have. Neil

There's a few glogs on THP where coco is used. I grow in pure coco and use liquid ferts. It's not for everyone, but works for me. Neil

The Chili pepper institute of New Mexico recommends a balanced 15-15-15 npk, but also cautions that chili peppers don't need ferts all that often. It's a good suppliment. I grow in coco and have found a 1-1-2 ratio works pretty good. It's a bit different than soil though. Neil

Yep that's sunscald on the last 2 pics. I had some that I started indoors this past season. They were green and healthy. I put them out for a hot day and burned the bejesus out of them. It doesn't really hurt the plant, but does hurt my grows pride. Neil

Thanks for the offer. I haven't had a problem sending or receiving seeds to/from the US in the past. I've always bubble enveloped the seeds and claimed it as a birthday card when sending. Even sent some to the Phillipines. Neil

Depends on where you live. I'm far north and I can't get anything out 5g pots and soil.
