    stc's comeback down south grow...

Mine were damaged because we moved them out of the house into the garage during the renovation of our house out in California. It gets super hot in there and they spent the better part of three years out there. I am hoping some of Annuum seeds dealt with the conditions a little better.   Not...

    stc's comeback down south grow...

Nothing popping as of yet...these seeds weren't very well taken care of (my fault) over the past few years and may no longer be viable. Even some of the lettuce seeds stored with them aren't popping. I threw a deeper hail mary and planted large numbers in containers to see if anything pops, but...

Very cool...I already put every seed in the dirt for some of these. I could always dig them up and give this a try!

health Carolina Reaper plant - whats wrong? (Need help)

steady 75 is fine...any time the temp drops below about 65 the plants will have a harder time setting pods. Post up pics when you finally get one to stick.

health Carolina Reaper plant - whats wrong? (Need help)

The new fans should help with pollination and will fix the edema...but as mentioned these plants will typically drop a lot of flowers before they start to set pods. Be patient, keep your temps between 70 and 80 in your grow area and eventually you'll get some pods.

I've had good luck with them...the only real difference I have noticed is you have to get them stuck down in there pretty well to keep from having a bunch of helmets.

    DF Kratky Experiment Glog

Keep the plants submerged completely in water for a couple hours...like I said, at some point you may just have to toss them. You can also buy lady bugs and aphid wasp larvae that will help keep them in check. Once again, YUCK.

    Hatch Chile seeds

So...just so you have it straight and can be confident...   Hatch chile refers to varieties of species of the genus Capsicum which are grown in the Hatch Valley, an area stretching north and south along the Rio Grande from Arrey, New Mexico, in the north to Tonuco Mountain to the southeast...
