  I had Leutschauer Paprika last year. It has little bit of heat ( i would say around 2000-3000 Scoville).  I didnt liked the fresh taste. Too hard, not too many juice and a little bit sour.    But its a good pepper for a mild an aromatic powder.   For "fresh-eating" i can reccomend "peperoni...

Had some "Bhut Copenhagen" that were half the size of this, but never think you could eat them fresh  :P

My "Pimentos de Padrons",  and "Jalapenos" had no problems with heat. "Congo Red" was also setting fruits.   All other varieties, were struggling a bit. No matter if "chinense", "anuum" or "baccatum".

  1) Should I cycle day/night temps or leave it at a constant 85F?           Well its just my experienece, but "chinenses" and "anuums" germinated better with a constant temperature, while my "baccatums" needed a day / night circle to germinate.

Unfortunately i didnt saved seeds from last year :-/.   But i guess you will get them somewhere they not that rare, got mine from "Semillas" last year.   You should start them now, they need some time to get fully ripe and really "snow" white :-)   Wish you good luck with your project, a white...

  I think only "snow white" are completely white, I had them last year and they really have a good flavour and were totally white. But it is a hell of a work to extract all seeds out of them..

Very cool to grow so many habaneros  :P . Im also a big "chinense" fan.   Its exciting to detect the best varieties. Expecially the "Scotch Bonnet" peppers like "Congo" should be very good. Never heared of "Peach Congo"  :shocked:   I whish you good luck and fun.

Well i lost the labels of some peppers and had to guess which one is "Fatalii" and which one "Numxe Suave". So far so good, the fruits from the first plant were orange to red so i tought that must be the "Numex".    I ate a little fruit and it turned out to be mild, so i made the mistake to eat...

"Joes Long Cayenne", the taste is so much better than every other Anuum i had. Very sweet, very nutty. Its the only Cayenne, that i roasted in the pan. And the powder is absolutely fantastic.

I can recommend:   "Yellow 7Pod" ( Very very pleasant fresh  and also very good dried) "Congo Red" (Very good and aromatic Powder) "Fatalii Red" (extremely sweet powder, an aroma like bananas + tropical fruits)

I know, but i dont have that much money to spend and just need that 1 variety :-/

  I love it too but i was buisy and didnt made a sauce with it  :tear:   I only made powder out of it. Next time i will look for some hot-sauce recipes.

Everyone is getting crazy about the "MOA". For the moment my favourite hot peppers are "Yellow 7Pod" and "Congo Red".    We will see ift that will change this year  :P

  Isolated would be better, but open pollinated would be ok also.
