I tested the following this year:
- Galapagos Isabella
- Habanero St. Martin
- Antillais Caribbean
- West Indies Red
- MOA Red
- Scotch Bonnet Safi
- Scotch Bonnet Red
The 2 best by far were "Antillais Caribbean" and "West Indies Red".
I found the "West Indies a little bit better but they...
Do you maybe have some seeds for a trade? Its almost impossible to get them in europe because the chilepepper insitute wanst an import permit.
I have plenty of seeds for a trade.
Next year i will grow Numex Suave Red and Orange. They are very much like a hot habanero when you make powder of them, but i dont like them fresh.
Anyone grew "NuMex Trick-or-Treat" ? I wonder how much they taste like a hab and if they are any good.
I grew 5 plants out of the crossed seeds. I can post some pictures in the next days, if somebody is interested.
Im curious if the chunpepe in the test video was already crossed, it could be if you see the "wrinkled shape".
As far as i know there are 2 types of cumari "do para". Both are "chinense" and different from yours.
My "cumari" is "true", it is the smaller version with upward pointing pods. I can make a picture tomorrow if you want.
Its very tasty (vitrus flavor) and perfect for snacking.
I have some brown roccotos that have a unknown origin. Maybe they are a mutation.
They were told me to have barely any heat. I will find out if that is true next year :-).
